The DP World Tour has sold itself to the PGA Tour with the Top 10 end of year players receiving PGA Tour cards for the next year. It does not even rate with the Korn Ferry Tour that has the Top 25 and any player who wins 3 tournaments receiving next year or automatic tour cards. The reality is that they exist only to have the Ryder Cup against the U.S. The only qualification system really requires only minor participation in the DP tour of like 4 tournaments a year to qualify initially. So guys like Rory, John Rahm and others on PGA tour can play 90% of their year on PGA tour events and still represent the Euro team. If the DP tour allows that, why can’t LIV players do the same? The DP World Tour is one of the Minor leagues of golf with very unrecognizable players competing on a weekly basis. If it really wants to provide competitive golf and entertainment to increase a following of fans and sponsors, it ought to explore a partnership with the LIV tour and expand into other areas of the World like Australia and with the current list of LIV players, other countries like South America and India would draw more fans and sponsors willing to pay more to increase revenue and player pots.

They joined another tour! Would your place of work welcome you back if you went to work for the competition then decided you wanted to work between the 2 companies?

nothing like not wanting your best players to compete..I guess they will be happy to work as an off shoot of the Korn Ferry tour.. They actually think players would rather play there for a fraction of the money??
