LIV Golf superstar Bryson DeChambeau mocks Golf Channel analyst Brandel Chamblee as he signs hundreds of autographs for his adoring fans at the Ryder Cup.
Chamblee, 63, launched a blistering attack on DeChambeau after Monday’s first practice round in New York.
DeChambeau, 32, is making his third appearance on the United States Ryder Cup team this week with his popularity soaring thanks to his YouTube antics.
But Chamblee isn’t buying into the hype – and he’s not convinced the LIV Golf superstar is a good fit for Team USA.
What set Chamblee off exactly?
DeChambeau’s first interview in New York.
Instead of talking about the Ryder Cup or his team’s goals, DeChambeau brought up his YouTube channel, which has close to 2.5m subscribers on the eve of the biennial dust-up against Europe.
“I thought it was pretty telling,” Chamblee fumed.
“He didn’t mention the Ryder Cup. He didn’t mention playing for a team. Nope. He talked about his YouTube channel.
“And those numbers? Let’s be honest – there’s no doubt bots are driving a lot of them.”
Chamblee, who has been a vocal critic of all things LIV Golf since its inception in the summer of 2022, didn’t stop there.
“That’s what he wants to talk about, not the Ryder Cup, not the team, and that’s why I think he’s going to be such a nightmare to pair with.”
Ouch.
Find me someone who hates Bryson DeChambeau more than Brandel Chamblee. I’ll wait pic.twitter.com/GeCeO44qsW

Fast forward less than 24 hours and the two-time US Open champion has fired back at Chamblee.
As DeChambeau was signing hundreds of autographs for his adoring fans all shouting out his name, he turned to the camera to say: “Did Brandel say something yesterday? I don’t know what it was…”

Another video went viral of security staff having to forcefully push against barricades to prevent excited golf fans falling over and hurting themselves while trying to obtain an autograph from DeChambeau.
DeChambeau has been practicing with Justin Thomas, Cameron Young and Ben Griffin, with whispers he will be out there alongside either Griffin or Young for the opening foursomes.
But Chamblee clearly thinks whoever gets stuck with him has a problem.
“Yes, he’s a hell of a golfer,” Chamblee admitted.
“Yes, he has his generous moments with fans. But he’s an odd duck when it comes to fitting into a team. He’s a walking bulletin board of mistakes—and honestly, I think he’d drive any captain mad.”
The Ryder Cup gets underway Friday, and all eyes will be on DeChambeau – not just for his golf, but for whether he can prove Chamblee wrong.

Chamblee you are a want a be just f=ing go home.
Chamblee, At 63 you have let the world pass you by. If you were any good as a player you would have been out there playing rather then trying to divide the USA team. Get off the golden toilet and get with the world of 2025! I’m still playing and in my 80’s. What’s your excuse. Remember DeChambeau is an American and deserves respect for playing for his country. The PGA players are independent contractors who are intitled to playing where they make the best living to support their families just like an old man sitting behind a desk throwing barbs is. Cut the crap.
