A video has gone viral over the weekend of a golfer hitting a shocker of a drive and it ending up going some 30 yards behind him! (video below)
The man in question sets up with a fairly balanced posture, but then sadly it all goes Pete Tong from there.
He takes the club back with far too much weight on his back foot and then fails to bring the club back down square at impact meaning there is only one direction for the golf ball – and that is a wide ball to the right.
As the ball heads into the trees down the right, the ball unfortunately ricochets back to him and goes some 30 yards behind him.
To be fair, we would be blaming the golf mat.
