How your driver’s tee height is affecting your ball flight (video)




There are all sorts of factors with your clubs that can affect your ball flight. GOLF Top 100 Teacher Kevin Sprecher, runs though a few of the basics for how a number of different factors can affect your ball flight.

A driver that’s too heavy, for instance, can potentially cause you to leave the face open or get stuck from the inside, because you’ll struggle to get the club back around your body, Sprecher says.

If your driver is too light, it could cause overactive hands in your golf swing.

And then there’s something as simple as tee height. The higher you peg it, the easier it is to hit up on the golf ball for a draw. Tee it lower, and you’ll likely steepen your angle of slightly and do the opposite.
