John Daly’s son will make his PGA Tour debut next week.

The 22-year-old is not the only youngster who will tee up at Grand Reserve Golf Club over 5-8 March.
Highly-rated prospect Blades Brown, 18, who impressed at The American Express earlier in the season by almost breaking 60, and 17-year-old Miles Russell are also in the field.

“Another edition of the Puerto Rico Open has arrived, and we are once again delighted to offer playing opportunities for so many up-and-coming stars,” tournament director Matt Truax said in a statement.
The winner of the Puerto Rico Open will receive 300 FedEx Cup points, a two-year exemption on the PGA Tour and an invitation to next month’s Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass.

They Dalys have won the PNC Championship once in 2021 and also recorded a pair of runner-up finishes.
John Daly won two five PGA Tour titles during his pomp. His career was highlighted by major championship victories at the 1991 PGA Championship and 1995 Open Championship.
The Puerto Rico Open will be defended by Karl Vilips.
Tony Finau, Matt Kuchar, Rasmus Hojgaard, Brandt Snedeker, Luke Clanton, Nick Dunlap and Neal Shipley are also in the field.
It has a total purse of $4m, with the winner receiving $720,000.
