PGA Tour pro responds to crying baby during opening tee shot: “I can hear you!”
PGA Tour star Matthieu Pavon reacted hilariously to a baby crying while hitting his opening tee shot during a practice round at the Team Cup.
Pavon, 32, is representing Francesco Molinari’s Continental Europe side at this week’s DP World Tour team event at Abu Dhabi Golf Resort.
The Frenchman is making his first appearance in the Team Cup, which was established in 2023.
Justin Rose is the captain of the GB & Ireland team, which features star players Tyrrell Hatton and Tommy Fleetwood.
In a video that was shared by the DP World Tour’s social media team, we join the clip with a baby crying as Pavon stands over his first shot of a practice round on Thursday. (video below)
As it turned out, the baby paused at the perfect possible time as Pavon pulled the trigger.
After Pavon struck his tee shot down the middle of the fairway, he cupped his ears and turned to the gallery to say: “I can hear you!”
