Phil Mickelson has gone on another USGA rant ahead of next week’s US PGA Championship by declaring they are working with the PGA Tour and against LIV Golf.
Lefty may have since deleted his tweet, which included a massive typo, but thankfully his epic rant was saved by multiple Twitter accounts for our viewing pleasure.
Just a week after Mickelson shaded both the USGA CEO Mike Whan and PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan, the six-time major champion and lead player voice of LIV Golf was at it again on Thursday.
He also labelled Whan’s decision to remove Talor Gooch from the US Open as a ‘d**k’ move
Mickelson was tweeting in reference to the official announcement of next week’s US PGA Championship field at Oak Hill.
The 2023 US PGA field includes 18 LIV Golf players, but Mickelson is not happy with a number of absentees.
While Lefty did not mention the USGA’s refusal to invite Sergio Garcia, who misses out on his first major championship since 1999, he did speak about his fellow Hy Flyers teammate Cameron Tringale, as well as fellow LIV Golf peers Sebastian Munoz and Jason Kokrak not making the field.
In comparison, he picked holes in PGA Tour pro and #128 Beau Hossler making it into the field.
Mickelson then proceeds to take another swipe at Monahan and Whan.
He writes the word ‘colliding’ in his tweet below but seemingly meant ‘colluding’.
Maybe that’s why he deleted it.
Mickelson tweeted:
Lefty is really going for it now and calling out the establishment at every opportunity. Thoughts? 👀🍿 pic.twitter.com/BjI9BqnvUa

As we say, Mickelson has since deleted the above tweet.

Ranting, really. Maybe you could say he had a few comments that he wanted to get out. Also look at the keyboard and look where the u and i are located, I don’t think spellcheck helps on this. Just maybe the PGA doesn’t want to see LIV players on top of the leaderboard like what happened at the Masters, just my thoughts.
He made the comment and then deleted it. So…. Clearly, he either regretted what he said or realized he was in the wrong… So yes, that is ranting…
