The secret is out: Tiger Woods has unveiled his roster for his TGL squad, and the start-up league’s six teams are nearing completion as it prepares for its inaugural 2025 season.

Woods tweeted a video on Monday announcing Max Homa, Tom Kim and Kevin Kisner as the three other members of Jupiter Links Golf Club, one of the six four-person teams competing in the tech-infused indoor golf league backed by Woods and Rory McIlroy.

In November, we had learned Woods’ TGR Ventures had partnered with David Blitzer as owners of Jupiter Links Golf Club, but the roster wasn’t released until Monday. Blitzer is the co-founder of Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment and an owner or partner of multiple pro sports teams.

“I have already shared my excitement and optimism for TGL as a league and product,” Woods said in a release. “Now that we have finalized our roster with a team of world-class golfers, I am even more confident that this group will proudly represent the Jupiter area and connect with our fans for years to come.”

As for Woods’ roster, whether intentional or not, there seems to be a theme regarding the three players selected to join Jupiter Links — and it’s not the fact that none of them actually reside in the Jupiter, Fla., area, as Woods does. It’s that they should be good on TV. Or at least have the potential to be more captivating than some other TGL players. Here’s why:

—Homa is one of the sport’s most active players on social media, and fans have taken to his quick wit and occasional self-deprecating humor. He’s also played well over the last couple of years, winning five times since 2021. He’s coming off his best major finish of his career, when he was T3 at the Masters.

—Kim, who is 21, already has won three times on the PGA Tour and also won fans over at the 2022 Presidents Cup, helping him attract a cult following. Some of the promising young star’s innocent aw-shucks charm came out on the latest season of “Full Swing,” when Kim accidentally walked into the Champions Locker Room at Augusta National and rode around his house on a mobile beverage cooler with speakers. And who could forget the 2023 PGA Championship, when Kim went viral — and had to change clothes — when he waded into the mud looking for a tee shot?

—Finally, there’s Kisner, a four-time winner on the PGA Tour but someone who’s been open about his struggles over the last year. He missed his first six cuts of the season and was 68th out of 69 at last week’s RBC Heritage.

But Kisner, 40, has also spent time dabbling in the NBC Sports booth as an analyst, and reviews have been favorable. He’s relatable, funny and sharp, traits that would translate well to entertaining a TV and in-studio TGL audience, something Homa and Kim might excel at as well.

For now, we’ll have to wait to find out. After the roof of the TGL’s new arena collapsed during a storm in November, the league’s first season was pushed to 2025. The first episode will air on ESPN on Jan. 7, 2025, in the SoFi Center, a 250,0000-square-foot venue in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
