Jon Rahm sent the crowd into a frenzy when he drained a huge birdie putt during the most recent WM Phoenix Open.
But he was also cheered for…using a porta-potty?
That’s right, Rahm was filmed having a pit stop during the third round of the PGA Tour event. And someone decided to film it. (video below)
You’re likely tired of hearing about how the fans every year at TPC Scottsdale like to overly indulge on the booze.
These fans definitely had a few beverages. Even the police officer was confused. “There’s something wrong with all of you,” he said.
Rahm eventually finished third behind Scottie Scheffler and Nick Taylor, securing another huge pay day.
His finish saw him join Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and a bunch of Hall of Famers with this milestone.
“Still p***** at 15 to be honest”
Rahm was searching for his third PGA Tour in six weeks at TPC Scottsdale.
Down the stretch of the final round he struggled to get anything going.
He found the water at the par-5 15th when he was trying to reach the green in two shots to set up an eagle opportunity.
Then at the rowdy 16th he missed the green left and failed to get-up-and down to save his par.
He told the media:
“The only one that I’m going to be thinking about for awhile is maybe that stretch of 15, 16. None of ’em were bad swings and both of ’em cost me a shot. So it is what it is.
“Still p***** at 15, to be honest. With that wind right-to-left, that ball squirted to the right of the semi and ended up in the water. Arguably one of the better swings of the week that ended up there.
“But besides that, again, [I have] a lot to be proud of. Gave myself plenty of chances. In the times that I was out of position I was able to minimize damage.
But still, if you told me early in the week 19-under was going to be winning I would think they would have won by six or seven because of the wind conditions we had all week.”
