WATCH: Patrick Reed accused of ‘vandalising’ LIV Golf locker room

A number of golf fans were outraged after watching a clip of Patrick Reed fooling around during a weather delay at LIV Golf Singapore.

The clip in question was filmed by Joaquin Niemann and shared on his Instagram page. (video below)

It showed the aforementioned Reed attempting to hit a flop shot inside the locker room as severe storms forced players off the course during the second round at Sentosa Golf Club.

Brooks Koepka held the lead after 36 holes and he was later involved in a tense exchange with a reporter when asked about his former teammate.

Reed is known as one of the best short game players in the world but in the video in question he appeared to blade his wedge into the roof.

The short video, re-shared by Barstool Sports’ Dan Rapaport, appeared to incense a number of golf fans who watched it.

Here’s a selection of comments:

“And people wonder why nobody likes him! How disrespectful. Try that at your country club and see how it goes.”

“I’m sure the club’s members love this.”

“Vandalism. Nice.”

“Continuing to validate his ‘table for one’ nickname.”

“I assume he will pay any damage done?”

“No one likes Reed. Acting like a child without his parents around doesn’t change that.”

“I don’t know a lot of boys over 16 years old who would think that’s funny.”

Judge for yourself in the video below:
