Tiger Woods was loving every second of Charlie Woods’ flop shot on the range ahead of PNC Championship.
Woods called an end to his and Charlie Woods’ practice range session at the PNC Championship on Friday after watching his son finish on the perfect note. A “f***ing nasty” note to be precise.
Tiger Woods and son Charlie are making their fourth start in the 36-hole PNC Championship this week. The format is once again scramble.
Team Woods will once again be paired with their good friends Justin Thomas and his father, Mike, for Saturday’s first round.
The foursome will tee off at 8:22 a.m. ET off the first tee at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Florida.
Team Thomas won the PNC Championship in their debut in 2020.
Team Woods are still seeking their first PNC victory.
Their closest attempt came in 2021 when they finished second to John Daly and his son, John Daly II.
Dad Tiger is evidently keen on their chances this week, however, especially after watching his son play this ridiculous flop shot.
“We’re ending on that right there, that was nasty… f***ing nasty!” Tiger said of Charlie’s final shot on the practice range.
In total, the 2023 PNC Championship will have a purse of $1,085,000. That means the winner will take home a top prize of $200,000.
In addition, the winning duo will also receive the Willie Park Trophy plus red leather belts.
The defending champions of the PNC Championship are Vijay Singh and his son Qass.
