‘What a low life tweet’ – Anthony Kim slammed over shocking post on social media
Anthony Kim’s return to golf has been a rocky ride, with the 39-year-old struggling to recapture the form that made him a fan favorite over a decade ago.
The Californian posted a best finish of 36th in his opening season on LIV, and he ended the season 56th out of 57 players who had completed at least three events.
Since his return, Kim has also been very active on the social media site X, and it’s a recent post that has caused a storm and put Kim in the headlines for all the wrong reasons.
Responding to a post made by Doug Emhoff, the husband of U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris, about the joys of being a ‘girl dad’, Kim posted the following:
There R at least 2 dudes here that take it in the butt🤷♂️. No problem with gays just stop lying about it. Y hasn’t Doug this amazing “#girldad” addressed hitting his gf? Positive side is it prob didn’t hurt. This will prob be the next #victoriasecret ad😂 #trump2024 #mentalhealth https://t.co/NcXsXwp9fm

As you can expect, the post caused plenty of outrage, with one user saying: “What a low life tweet. At no point did it cross your mind that this is completely uncalled for, classless, and flat out wrong?”, while another responded “Dude, just log off. You’re not the AK version we were hoping for.”
The backlash continued with another user saying,
“Delete your account … again.”
Kim will look to make headlines for his on-course play in 2025 in his second season on LIV Golf.
