On Thursday, a new episode of the “BS Podcast” with Jake Paul was released and featured five-time major champion Brooks Koepka.
During the episode, Paul asked Koepka whether or not he thinks golf is a “real sport”.
Brooks replied:
“Sometimes I think it is and sometimes I think it isn’t. I go back and forth. I kind of flip flop on that one. I think sometimes it’s not. I look at the guys. I hate doggin’ them, but I know what real athletes do. I know how guys train. I know how guys do all this stuff. Then watching some guys go, ‘I’m going to go slam seven or eight beers every night then go play in the morning.’”
Paul then asked Brooks if he’d fight Bryson DeChambeau in a boxing match, and added he’d put a one million dollar purse up for each fighter plus the pay per view.
Koepka said, “Yeah, we can make something happen”.
It certainly seemed like Paul and Koepka were joking, but if the last few years have proven anything, it’s that Jake Paul can sell a fight between people who are new to the sport.
