Get out and walk – GolferPal’s automatic folding push cart REVIEW

First things first… wanna be more like the pros?  Then get out and walk.

Sure we don’t all have a caddy lugging around our bag but truthfully, how many of you seriously have a tour bag?  (…and if you do, it’s time to put that bad boy aside and get real.)  Golf was meant to be walked!

Secondly, as a society we are hot on new tech.  Enter GolferPal’s new EasyPal push cart.  Excited to give it a try I pulled out the lightweight push cart from my trunk, set it down in front of the clubhouse, and pushed the magic red button.  As if I had choreographed it, everyone around stopped and came over to oogle and ask me to play show and tell.  Fold.  Unfold.  Fold.  Unfold.  It’s truly that simple.

There’s definitely a cool factor with the EasyPal.  It’s unique and super simple.   It’s a relatively lightweight push cart that has a decent amount of storage space onboard for your cell phone and other goodies, an attachable drink holder and umbrella holder (but if it’s raining I’m not playing).  At present there are only two color choices – black body with red accents or white with black accents.  I really liked how compact it is once completely folded down.  It has a nice end strap to carry to and from your car trunk and truly doesn’t take up much space.  The price for an EasyPal is similar to other competitor type products (all non-automatic of course) at $239.99 – and it’s even on sale right now!

So how did it perform?  Excellent!  The handles are comfortable and the whole cart moves smoothly left to right with ease.  The course I took it to had a few decent hills and the EasyPal was super light and easy to maneuver.  Compared to the loaner push cart you can get at any course the EasyPal made the walk so much more comfortable on my shoulders and back letting me stay rested for my next shot (no need to carry that bag on your back either).  I didn’t feel like I was pushing a giant old heavy bag and cart which keeps me inspired to continue walking.

You still have to pay to use the loaner so why not pick up your own push cart… you’ll easily get your money’s worth!  The compact nature of the EasyPal, ease of folding and unfolding (just the touch of a button!) and the maneuverability makes this a great purchase!  There is also no confusion on how to get the cart up and ready for use or packed away and done for the afternoon.  It’s a one touch push and you’re all set.

My recommendation is to get out and walk… and if you’re going to walk, definitely use an EasyPal!
