Much has been made about the additions to the 2023 LIV Golf roster including Thomas Pieters, Mito Pereira, Sebastian Munoz, Dean Burmester, Danny Lee and Brendale Steele.

However, with additions there must also be subtractions.

The players who have lost their place on LIV are Wade Ormsby, Laurie Canter, Sadom Kaewkanjana, Phachara Khongwatmai, Hennie Du Plessis, Adrian Otaegui and Turk Pettit.

Here are how the players finished in the final 2022 LIV Golf Standings as well as their best finish:

• Wade Ormsby: 57th (London T22)
• Laurie Canter: 28th (Chicago T8)
• Sadom Kaewkanjana: 45th (Boston T13)
• Phachara Khongwatmai: 51st (Bedminster T13)
• Hennie Du Plessis: 20th (London 2nd)
• Adrian Otaegui: 32nd (London T6)
• Turk Pettit: 41st (Bedminster T6)

These players will be playing most of their golf on the Asian Tour going forward, but it wouldn’t be a major surprise if a few of them found a temporary spot with LIV at some point during the 2023 season.
