Tiger Woods caddies for son Charlie at junior golf tournament

The 15-time Major winner took the bag for his little boy as he played at an event in Florida, US.

Charlie, who 44-year-old Woods had with ex-wife Elin Nordegren, was the first on hand to congratulate his old man when he won The Masters last April.

Woods nearly broke down in tears when he embraced his boy after completing arguably the greatest comeback in sports at Augusta.

But the roles were reversed this past weekend when Woods carried the bag at Club Med Academies in Jupiter.

There was no repeat of the fairytale win but Charlie – who idolises Lionel Messi – shot a respectable five over par on the nine-hole event to finish the first day in a share of ninth.

And that included a birdie on the par-4 third hole.

Woods caddied again for the second day of the tournament in which Charlie shot even par to finish second overall.

Impressive… but fans were even more taken aback with how good his swing was.

Alongside a clip of the youngster on the range with his dad behind him, one wrote: “Charlie Woods will win 100 Majors.”

Another said “The 2028 Masters Sunday final pairing of Woods and Woods is going to be insane.”

Another said: “I just thought about the clip they’ll show after of the 2030 Masters of Tiger hugging Earl, comparing it to Tiger hugging Charlie, then Charlie hugging Tiger and I got choked up.”

A fellow user posted: “I would advise every little kid going to junior golf tournaments right now to find a new hobby.”

Another comment read: “Looking awesome Charlie. What a amazing swing you have at such a young age.”

Woods is enjoying some time off after matching the PGA Tour record for most wins with 82 following his triumph at the Zozo Championship in Japan last October.
