Tour pros react to PGA Tour, LIV Golf merger news

WHOA.

WHOAAAAAAAAAAA!

It’s a wild day in the golf world. Because, seemingly out of nowhere, after months of fighting publicly and in court, the PGA Tour and LIV Golf are … merging.

Along with the DP World Tour, the deal announced Tuesday sent shockwaves through the golf world, including with players, many of whom didn’t have a clue this was happening.

What does it all mean for them? What does it mean for the future of professional golf? Those questions will be answered down the road. For right now, all we know is there’s an agreement, and all that fighting between players and tours is done.

I can see where the PGA pros could be pissed off at the revenues and the fact that other world class players reaped in the benefits and now can rejoin the PGA. Where is the equity in this with the loyal PGA players

It’s all about money, which the PGA is running short of. Best for the golfing world.

Tiger and Rory ? Put your money where your mouth is, QUIT the tour!
