Hosung Choi is causing quite a stir in the golf world with the craziest style we’ve ever seen.
The below Video of the South Korean tour pro in action at the Korean Open has gone viral with viewers dumfounded as to how this crazy swing put him on the verge of qualifying for the British Open Championship next month and finishing T5 in the Korean Open.
The bizarre style is something more suitable to a re-make of Happy Gilmore than the tees of Carnoustie.
But, three-quarters of the way through the tournament in Korea, Choi, was in second place which would have been enough for qualification. The 44-year-old was in pursuit of only his third pro title having claimed wins in 2008 and 2011 but unfortunately finished T5 and didn’t qualify, but there’s already a petition in the works trying to get him there. Do you think he should still play in the British Open even though he didn’t qualify?
Until the next time we see him, let’s just enjoy some of these clips that flooded Twitter.
